For more than 70 years, SIBA has specialized in fuses, covering the entire range from miniature devices for electrical components to high-voltage installations and as our business is to dedicate ourselves to this mainly, you can be sure that our fuses will work when necessary, through our products we safeguard their own, their plant, their machinery and above all their personnel; Seen from that angle, what we really think about are your vital resources how you can see, therefore, SIBA fuses are not C products, but functional A products and therefore an excellent investment.
SIBA beyond the norms
To ensure that our fuses meet national and international norms, engineers from SIBA sit on a variety of standardization committees. However, we strive for more than that. A large segment of our products have also been certified by independent certification bodies and test centres for compliance with German, U.S. and other international specifications.
At SIBA, tried and tested quality means more than just individual products you can count on: our quality management system also guarantees optimized workflows. We regularly engage auditors to make sure of that.
Quality and environment management
At SIBA, we do more to ensure that a given product is safe and complies with one or more standards. Our processes, too, are subject to quality management to ensure smooth workflows. Beyond our focus on quality, environmental stewardship is written large at SIBA. We regularly submit ourselves to audits and certification to DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001 to ensure that consumption of environmental resources is kept to a minimum. Not only do our products and the environment benefit as a result, but also our budget.

High Voltage

Ultra Fast
Power: without the developments of high technology in the field of converters, thyristors or UPS, the current power supply would be unthinkable. Important as these devices are, they are also very sensitive to short-circuit currents. Therefore, it is reassuring to know that SIBA makes fuses work so fast that they can protect these semiconductors and, thus, keep them running for much longer. The name of this product range is “Ultra-fast”.
Low voltage
A switch without proper protection of the fuses can be out of service for a considerable time. And that can be expensive, and even if the insurance covers the actual damage, the interruption of the service can cause the loss of an order and nobody but you will pay for all the problems and the work involved. Thus viewed from this angle, optimal fuse protection is a worthwhile investment. If the worst is worse, the fuse reacts instantaneously, it is replaced and the work can continue.

SIBA has more than 10,000 different fuse technology products. But even with that variety, we still can not cover all the applications, and for constantly changing needs we have to develop new variants. And even if a fuse fits perfectly, it may still not be possible to use it because, to give just one example, a specific trigger sequence may be required in the case of fuses installed in series.
